Cheese vs. Karma

30 Days of Truth- Day 19: What is your opinion of religion?

When I was little up until I was 18 years old I was raised in the Mormon religion, or The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints if you will, and yes we do believe in Jesus as our savior, and we also believe in electricity. No, we do not believe in polygamy and haven't for a very long time. Anywho, I will save you a long list but lets just say for the time being I now classify myself as just a simple Christian. There is one thing, however, I feel very strongly about, and that is Karma. I live my life around what will give me good Karma, and I make my decisions based on if bad Karma is worth me choosing to make a bad decision. There has never been a situation to where Karma (good or bad) has not come back around to me, not once, therefore, living life based on knowing what you do will always come back to either bite you or pat you on the back, well, lets just say I usually make a pretty good decision, and therefore having a pretty good life. A Cheesey View...

30 Days of Truth-Day 18: Your views on gay marriage.

Well, let me start off by saying I have gay friends and family members who I love very much, and especially recently, my gay cousin purposed to his sweet boyfriend, and he said yes. Where do they go from here? If they want to get married, they have to travel a great distance, which yeah they are willing to do, but I don't think they should have to. I mean, we are in the year 2011 for crying out loud, where more people are proud of being gay, and who aren't scared to say it anymore. Why do others really give a crap if they get married, anyway. I don't think its anyone's business to be able to tell someone they can or cannot. I mean, if your life is so screwed up that your main concern is to keep someone from making such a wonderful, life changing commitment, then you SERIOUSLY need to sort out your priorities or get a life or something. You know what? I think people who drain the life and fun out of this world, shouldn't be able to get married. ( Although they probably don't because no one wants to be around a scrooge like that.) So I guess you could say that, yes, I think they should get married because IT's NONE OF MY BUSNIESS! lol TTFN <3

Not a Book Worm, but a Book Cheese...

30 Days of Truth- Day 17: A book you've read that changed your view on something.

What is it with half of these questions being boring and down right LAME! lol Oh well, here goes another dull blog:

The answer to this question isn't really a book, but an author. If you like mystery/romance novels, you really need to read a Sandra Brown book, and just to warn you, once you start reading her work, you will never want to read anything else until you have read every single book on the shelves...or amazon :P I don't know what she does, but when I read her books I am completely IN them. I always feel like the main character (unless it's a dude of course). Now there are some spicy sex scenes in a good number of her books, so if you get offended by that, I would try to pass on a select few lol.

Anyway, back to the question, every since I can remember I have wanted to be a FBI Investigator, and with her books, I never let that dream go. In fact, each time I read them I yearn for it more and more. So you could say that when I become a big shot at the FBI, she will be one of the reasons why I am there. For now, she will just have to be the reason why I work at Barnes and Noble (hopefully, 2 job interviews down, and hopefully 1 to go :D) TTFN <3

2011 Cheese....

30 Days of Truth- Day 16: Someone or something you could definitely live without.

Due to the fact that I think its pretty obvious I don't NEED anything but my family and friends (oh and food and water of course), and also the fact that I am not sure who is reading this (therefore I refuse to hurt someones feelings by blogging about how I could live without them. RUDE!), I have decided to plead the 5th on this one. lol Instead, I am going to blog about the going of an old year, and the coming of a new one.

2010 was a very bipolar year. I lost both of my great grandparents within months of each other, parted with my ex, turned 21, went skydiving (a good thing), fractured my tail bone, reunited with the love of my life, got engaged and married, got ripped off, lost weight (good), moved 2 times in 1 1/2 months, tried to get pregnant but so far have been unsuccessful, found out my husband was getting deployed in February, rented a very lovely home, met some great friends. left some great friends and family in Georgia, fixed a friendship that I thought would never be fixable, and I think that just about sums it up. So over all I would say the good out weighs the bad, but I will tell ya, I am looking at the coming of 2011 to be a good thing, and I really hope it's even better than 2010 because if it is, well I would say I have a pretty nice life going for me. Where Does Cheese Come From?...

30 Days of Truth- Day 15: Something or someone you couldn't live without.

Well since I already blogged about how wonderful my husband is, I am going to tell you about the greatest woman in my life. My mom is my world. If it weren't for her, I believe I would be one messed up slice o cheese :P She is my inspiration for everything I do, and I hope that when I am lucky enough to have a baby, I will be even have as great as she is. Most girls don't get the luxury of being close with their moms, and honestly, I don't see how the get through life. My mom is my best friend, and she was even my maid of honor at my wedding. If I need advice, she is the first one I call. If I need someone to just sit and listen to me cry, and my husband is at work or something, I know I can count on her. If there is ANYTHING I need, she will do her best to make it happen. My mom even took the money that she needed to put new tires on her car and gave it to me instead for tires for mine, and she has yet to have the ability to put tires on hers. She has sacrificed so much for me, and for that she is my hero and my angel. I can't imagine my life without her, and I am truly the luckiest girl in the world to have her for my mom. TTFN <3

Time to Save the Cheese...

30 Days of Truth-Day 14: A hero that has let you down.

Jammin' Cheese...

30 Days of truth-Day 13: A band or artist that has gotten you through some tough times.

It did not take me long to think of the perfect artist for this blog. Miranda Lambert, hands down. When I was at my worst, every single song that I heard from here gave me hope again. She sings about self confidence, pride, revenge, etc. The exact combination for the perfect cocktail for a broken heart. Miranda Lambert, the love of my wonderful husband, and my mom were the only things that kept me going at that time, and are the reasons why I was able to put my past aside so quickly, and move on to my bright future. Miranda Lambert is a hero in my eyes bc she saved me from giving up on love. She saved me from beating myself up. She gave me more self confidence then I have ever had, and when you are in a place as low as I was, that is a miracle in itself. She is flat out amazing, and I love her and her music. TTFN <3
