Sorry for no blog post yesterday, but it was a really rough day for me, so I couldn't even see the computer screen even if I tried. I sent my soldier off to war, and it was the hardest thing I have ever had to do. It was difficult to come home to all of his things, all of our pictures, and with our 2 cats just giving me a confused look like, "you left with daddy, why didn't you return with him?". I cried for hours, but after I got sick of the head ache and being so upset, (after all you're not supposed to be stressed when you got a bun in the oven)I started cleaning to get my mind off of things. Then I went grocery shopping at walmart with my neighbor ashley. After that I sat down with my nook and read me some Sandra Brown. Around 11:00 I finally fell asleep, but woke up so many times to find myself unable to clutch to my husband. :(
Then around 4:30 am my phone rings! It was him! He had bought a phone card when he landed in Ireland, and decided to call me :). Even though we only got to talk for not even 5 minutes, in that time I realized that everything was going to be alright. I am so proud of him, and I am so lucky to have such a strong, noble, honest, hard working, loving husband. I am anxiously awaiting his return, and now I am just going to concentrate on being healthy and preparing for our baby to arrive. TTFN ♥

Pondering Cheese...
Do you ever wonder what would someone be like had you met under different circumstances. For example, say you get into a car accident. Well you are automatically going to pretty much HATE whoever ran into your car, but what if you had met through a mutual friend or at an exercise class instead? You may have become best friends and gotten along way better than any friend you have ever had before, or think about it flipped. What if instead of meeting your best friend the way you did, they accidentally ran over your dog and killed it. Most likely, you would want to punch them in the face for as long as you lived, and therefore you wouldn't have that person in your life. I don't know, I guess just something to think about. TTFN ♥

My Favorite Song Right Now...
My favorite song changes fairly quickly, but as of right now it would have to be Katy Perry's Firework. To me this song is the ultimate motivator for anyone that is feeling down or unappreciated. It's one of those songs that when you listen to it in the morning, you feel like you can accomplish anything you put your mind to. Even if you don't like her kind of music, I challenge you to just read the following lyrics, and if you don't feel inspired or a rush of self worth, then well, sorry, but you're not human. lol
Katy Perry- Firework
Do you ever feel like a plastic bag
Drifting through the wind
Wanting to start again
Do you ever feel, feel so paper thin
Like a house of cards
One blow from caving in
Do you ever feel already buried deep
Six feet under scream
But no one seems to hear a thing
Do you know that there's still a chance for you
Cause there's a spark in you
You just gotta ignite the light
And let it shine
Just own the night
Like the Fourth of July
Cause baby you're a firework
Come on show 'em what your worth
Make 'em go "Oh, oh, oh!"
As you shoot across the sky-y-y
Baby you're a firework
Come on let your colors burst
Make 'em go "Oh, oh, oh!"
You're gunna leave 'em fallin' down-own-own
You don't have to feel like a waste of space
You're original, cannot be replaced
If you only knew what the future holds
After a hurricane comes a rainbow
Maybe you're reason why all the doors are closed
So you can open one that leads you to the perfect road
Like a lightning bolt, your heart will blow
And when it's time, you'll know
You just gotta ignite the light
And let it shine
Just own the night
Like the Fourth of July
Cause baby you're a firework
Come on show 'em what your worth
Make 'em go "Oh, oh, oh!"
As you shoot across the sky-y-y
Baby you're a firework
Come on let your colors burst
Make 'em go "Oh, oh, oh!"
You're gunna leave 'em fallin' down-own-own
Boom, boom, boom
Even brighter than the moon, moon, moon
It's always been inside of you, you, you
And now it's time to let it through
Cause baby you're a firework
Come on show 'em what your worth
Make 'em go "Oh, oh, oh!"
As you shoot across the sky-y-y
Baby you're a firework
Come on let your colors burst
Make 'em go "Oh, oh, oh!"
You're gunna leave 'em goin "Oh, oh, oh!"
Boom, boom, boom
Even brighter than the moon, moon, moon
Boom, boom, boom
Even brighter than the moon, moon, moon

Things I Want...
So I am super excited because my wonderful Grmi has accepted the task of decorating the Nursery. So as I am thinking about all the things I am hoping for, I decided that writing them down would be better, so that I might be able to go back and refer to my notes should I forget anything :)
*A rocking chair- This is my #1 priority, as my Grmi agreed, even more than a crib. I love rocking babies to sleep, and most of the time will fall asleep myself. lol
*A throw blanket made of rayon- I have been dying for one of these blankets for quite some time now. They are not too hot, but will keep you just warm enough to be comfortable. It feels like water against your skin, and it is just soooo amazing.
*A crib- Of course. That's obvious, but I have a feeling that at least until daddy gets back from deployment, the baby will probably be sleeping with me most of the time lol.
*A super cute car seat/stroller set- So I can take walks and burn off my preggo fat and still look cute :)
*A family car- This is probably the most important yet most expensive item of all. I love my car, but lets face it, a two door plus a new baby does not equal success. lol My husband desperately wants a new camero when he gets back from Iraq, and I told him he could get one as long as I never EVER have to put the baby in or take the baby out of the car seat. He agreed, but come on, lets face it, that will probably last a month, TOPS! It would be so nice to have a car that has 4 doors, isn't super low to the ground, and will fit the stroller PLUS all of our groceries in the trunk. Sigh, but at the same time, he is so deserving of a new car, so I guess we will just have to see. lol
Other than this list, and all of the obvious necessities, I am not really picky about anything else. TTFN <3

My Purpose...
Okay, so I hit the button on the Random Blog Topic Generator I told you about earlier, and it asked me,"Why do you think you were born into this world?"
I believe that many people are born for specific reasons. For example, some people are meant to save lives and therefore become doctors. Some are meant to entertain people, so they become musicians or actors, or strippers if you want to go that far lol. I believe that I was born to be a mom. I don't think God really cares about what I do as far as my employment as long as I am there to take care of my children, however many that may be.
How do I know this? Well, lets see, I am the oldest girl out of about 15 cousins which means I did a LOT of babysitting. Then the older I got I never really knew what I wanted to go to school for, all I knew is that I wanted to get married and start my family. That is how I know I married the perfect man because the day we got married he told me that I should stop taking birth control, and in agreement, I did. Even though it took 5 long months of trying, we finally have started our family, and we couldn't be happier.
So far I am 4 weeks pregnant, and even though my boobs ache, my hormones are out of wack, and I am constantly tired, I am so excited to begin this life changing experience, after all, this is what I was born to do. TTFN ♥

My Greatest Life Lesson so Far...
The greatest lesson life has taught me at this point is not to be too trusting of the human race. When you think about it, it's actually pretty sad, and kind of makes being a human degrading in a way. It seems like whenever life has a trial for me it's always about how am I going to handle getting screwed over. It could be anything from a scammer that knocks on your door to your best friend betraying you. You name it, I've been thru it, and frankly, I am done being takin' for a fool, and the best part? I knew better. Each and every single time, I knew it before it even had the chance to bite me in the butt, but I am the type of person that wants to believe in people. I want to see one good person in this world that wont take advantage of me. Are there any decent people left? It seems like whenever these situations come to play, I know that people can't be that generous or civilized, but I want to trust that the "too good to be true" situations will actually work out in my favor one day. I want to find one kindhearted human being that won't screw me over the first chance they get. I still have a little hope left, but not much. TTFN ♥
