Turning Over a new Cheese...

30 Days of Truth-Day 29: Something you hope to change about yourself.

One thing that I really hope to change about myself is just to be healthier. I don't mean skinnier or whatever, just healthier in general. With this goal includes me learning to cook, and if you know me, you are thinking "oh God" right about now. lol The reason I guess is because I want to be able to eat healthy when I have kids, so that they have to eat healthy. Not to mention, I want to be around for a while, and eating junk food, hitting the jack and coke, etc isn't the best way to do that. haha. Another thing I hope to change, is to actually be a mom. I know that's what I was meant to do with my life, among other things, and I am done waiting to get started on it. We have been trying for 5 months now, so lets hope this last chance will work before he gets deployed in a few weeks. TTFN <3

Preggo Cheese...

30 Days of Truth-Day 28: What would you do if you got pregnant (or got someone pregnant) right now?

Considering my husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for quite some time now, I would be the happiest person in the world. We wanted to get pregnant before he deployed next month, but so far it hasn't happened. This is the last chance we have at getting pregnant before he leaves, and I even took fertility medicine, so we will see. Fingers are crossed. I just don't get how it's so easy for an irresponsible woman who is just going to get an abortion and murder her child, yet for someone like me, who was born to be a mother, it takes so many tries and so much disappointment. I suppose it will happen when it is supposed to, though. TTFN <3

So why the Cheese Grater, Cheese?...

30 Days of Truth- Day 27: The meaning behind your blog name.

It is pretty simple really. It all started when I created my first email address and screen name. I based it off of one of my favorite snacks, which just so happens to be Wisconsin Cheese Curds. (If you haven't had them, go online and get them shipped to you ASAP. You won't regret it.)

Anywho, I chose the name CheeseCrdsxx, and whenever I signed up for ANYTHING, I always used it. Well, I was playing an online game one day, Jedi Academy, and all of a sudden I realized people started calling me Cheese for short. So, Cheese, Ch33s3, Ch33s3nP3nor, or any other form of Cheese, depending on what others have already taken, is usually my gamers tag for any game I play, and then most people just end up calling me plain ol' Cheese. In fact, my husbands gamers tag is Slinky, so if he doesn't call me hunny, he is addressing me by Cheese, and same with me. If its not Hunny, it's slink.

So when I decided to start blogging, I wanted a creative name that had my GT in it, and I figured that a cheese grater breaks cheese down into pieces of cheese, and a blog breaks down pieces of people, sooooo TADA, the blog Cheese Grater was born :) TTFN <3

Dont give in to the Cheese...

30 Days of Truth- Day 26: Have you ever thought about giving up on life?

No. Not once. I have thought about giving up on others, but never on life. Life is too short and precious to have regrets, or to just throw in the towel for that matter. I have already been here 21 years, why let all that be for nothing. Not to mention, I feel like if I ever give up, I am letting whatever the main issue is win at the game of life, and I am a sore loser, so I try to win at everything. So far I would have to say that I am winning at life. I have been through so much over the past 21 years, and if that can't break me, nothing will. As long as I have the love of my husband and family, there is nothing else I need. TTFN <3

Lalalala Cheese...

30 Days of Truth-Day 24: Make a playlist to someone and explain why you chose those songs.

I love music, and the best kind of songs are the ones that make you think of your actual life and the people in it, so this playlist is for the most important people in my life, and explanations to follow each song.

1. Nothing Else Matters- Apocalyptica: This is mine and my husbands song, the one we danced to at our wedding. I like the Metalica version too, but the Apocaluptica version is amazing. Basically, it doesn't matter how much money we have or where we end up. Nothing matters as long as we have each other. He is the reason I am excited for a new day, and the reason I am excited for my future. I don't care about our past, just our current time and our future together. I love you Slink <3

2. In My Daughters Eyes- Martina McBride: This is mine and my moms song. Everytime I hear it, I thank God for blessing me with such an amazing mom. She is my best friend, and the one person I know I will always be able to count on. I am her world, and she is mine, and I can't wait for her to visit me in February :) I love you mom!

3. My Little Girl-Tim McGraw: This is the song that my dad and I danced to at my wedding. I still remember the first time I met my dad. When I was 12, he came with my mom to pick me up from the airport after spending the summer with my aunt in Ohio. We have been so close ever since that day, and although we have had our disagreements, I love my dad so much, and he is one of the reasons I am the strong woman I am today. I am so glad he came into my life when he did, and although hes not my biological donor, HE is my dad, and no matter what, he always will be. I love you daddy!

4. Grandpa- The Judds: As unoriginal as it is, I danced to this song with my grandpa at my wedding. My grandfather is such as strong man, and has been someone I have looked up to since I can remember. Before my dad came into my life, my grandpa was my dad, and I love him so much. He has such a big heart, and loves his grandchildren more than he loves himself. He taught me how to mow the lawn, and can make anything from scraps he finds in his shed. There is nothing he can't do, and for that, he is my superhero. I love you Grandpa!

5. Bohemian Rhapsody- Queen: This song reminds me of my pyotee. Leah is such a wonderful person. When I first met her my freshman year of high school, I thought she was going to be a total snob, but we ended up being best friends. She took me to my first concert, which was queen, and that was probably one of the greatest times of my life. We have been thru it all, and it seems as though our friendship can survive thru anything, even if we go a year or so without talking lol. I am so glad I have such an amazing person in my life to call my friend, and I think that no matter where we end up in life, we will always be friends. I love you pyoteers!

6. Gone- Roberta Pearson: I have written many songs in my life, but the only song that I am ever able to remember the lyrics AND tune to is the song I wrote for my Aunt Jane. Since my mom worked two jobs, I spent a lot of my time with my Aunt Jane. She taught me how to tie my shoes, read, build a snowman, ride a bike, everything a kid should know how to do. I have so many memories of her, and about 4 years ago she passed away. It is still hard for me to deal with it, and I think of her often. She had a heart of gold, and what I wouldn't do to spend one more day with her smiling face. She is the one who taught me to be so optimistic, and to take life with full force. I miss and love you so much Aunt Jane!

7. Only Prettier- Miranda Lambert: This song reminds me of one of my best friend, Heather. She has been there for me through all of my most difficult and wonderful times in my life. When I went skydiving she was right there watching me jump down. She has helped me so much, and when I needed a good jam to Miranda Lambert, she was always there to jam with me. I miss her so much, and I am lucky to have such a great friend. I love you Heather!

8. Billy Gilman- One Voice: This song is one that I listened to many times while sitting on Helen's roof. She has been my friend longer than any of my friends combined, and we have been thru everything life has to throw at you. It seems as though no matter what we do in life or how long we go without speaking, we always seem to think about each other. She plans on coming to Texas to visit me soon, and I know we are going to have so much fun. She is one of the greatest friends a girl could ask for, and for that, I love you Helen!

There are so many other people I have songs for, but this is all I am going to list encase I have internet trolls come to my page O.o Not to mention I think this is a long enough blog lol. TTFN <3

Getting to know the Cheese...

30 Days of Truth-Day 23: 15 facts about you.

I have kinda done something like this before, but I will try to be a little more creative this time, I guess. lol

1. I share a birthday with The Dutchess herself, Fergie.

2. I want to be a mother more than anything in this world, and having such a wonderful husband makes me want it even more.

3.I recently just got obsessed with having coffee in the mornings, but only if I have my Irish Cream creamer.

4. I wish I were better at playing Black Ops on the xbox, but that doesn't mean I will stop playing.

5. I hate my glasses, but I have to wear them. Hopefully I can get contacts next week. Also, in my left eye I will forever see a cloud of lines, there is no safe way to repair it, but it can't hurt me or my vision, so it will just be annoying.

6. I basically have a job at Barnes and Noble, and I will be starting soon. I don't think I have ever been so excited to start a job. :)

7. It bugs me that I can no longer decide what my favorite movie is, and it makes me feel like I am betraying Grease and John Travolta just by considering other movies.

8. I think Jim Carrey is a genius.

9. If I could choose to look like anyone, I would look like Jessica Alba.

10. Along with my mom and husband, Miranda Lambert is my hero.

11. I think I am truly beautiful, for the most part, but I wish I could FULLY believe I was.

12. I have one of the most expensive laptops, but I wish I would have never bought it. The only thing I like about it is the glow up keyboard.

13. I love to read, and wish I did it more, but the only books I will read are by Sandra Brown, and I am scared to imagine what I will do once I have read all of them.

14. I can make the greatest burgers ever, a family recipe called German Chili, the best mac and cheese you have ever had, fettuccine alfredo, delicious bologna sandwiches, and chicken n dressing, but other than that, I can't cook at all :P At least what I can cook is always super good. Although, I do wish I could cook more things.

15. I am a neat freak to the max, which goes along with my other weird OCDs.
